Barbeque enthusiasts from all over Texas fired up the grill Saturday, at the Brazos County Expo Complex. Thirty nine teams competed in the 20th annual Brazos County Go Texan Cook-off.

Ribs were slow-cooked all day long to get the flavor just right, but cooks stayed tight lipped about the recipes.

The cook-off raised money for local Go Texan scholarships.

Last year, Brazos County Go Texan gave away $135,000 in scholarships to local graduates.
