New developments have emerged in the upcoming Gridiron Bash on April 18, 2008 at Kyle Field.
The Gridiron Bash, featuring ZZ Top has been canceled. However, MSL sports and Entertainment, the organizer of the nation wide event, is still promoting the event.
Louisiana State University, one of the twenty schools to host the event has also cancelled the concert at Tiger Stadium. Lack of ticket sales is blamed to be the problem.
According to Texas A&M Athletic Department officials, of the 20 schools that were hosting the event, Texas A&M was second in ticket sales and had sold less than 10,000 tickets for the ZZ Top concert scheduled to take place in less than three weeks.
For those holding tickets to the ZZ top concert, it is expected that ticket fees will be refunded.
