Some power customers in the Brenham area should expect outages over the next couple of days as renovations take place.
Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative officials say equipment on about 400 poles is being replaced in what may be the largest system upgrade in their history.
Starting Wednesday at 9 a.m., customers of that cooperative between Westwood and North Berlin road on the west side of Brenham could face an outage of about an hour. That includes the Country Meadows subdivision, the Pecan Glen subdivision, Farmer's Road, S. Berlin Road to Spanish Oaks subdivision and Old Mill Creek Road, from Brenham city limits to Farmer's Road, that according to Bluebonnet.
A few hours later at 11 a.m., an outage is scheduled for areas between North Berlin and Hickory Bend, which includes Windy Acres Road, Quail Run Road, Mount Vernon Road, Old Gay Hill Road, Cock's Crow Road and O'Malley Road.
Then on Thursday starting at 9 a.m., Bluebonnet has an hour-long outage planned for between Lange Lake Road and Harrisburg Road, with Old Burton Road, Happy Hollow Road, FM 2679, West Oak Lane and Lange Lake Road included in the outage area.
