Citizen's Against Government Waste makes headlines every year with its annual Pig Book, listing what it believes are the biggest pork projects.
District 17 Congressman Chet Edwards made the list, though he's not ashamed of the project that he's noted for in the book.
Edwards got nearly $100,000 written into a bill for the historic Granbury Opera House in the northern most portion of the district.
Thursday, his spokesman told News 3 the money is going towards renovations at the landmark -- including making the facility handicap acccessible -- and that much of Edwards' role is to help the residents of his district, who brought him the proposal.
