Chilifest 2008 Ends With Big Country Performances

Tens of thousands hit the roads of Burleson County as Chilifest wrapped up.

An early rough estimate has about 35,000 people out near Snook for the country music event combined with cook offs.

Gary Allen, Pat Green, Aaron Watson, Stoney LaRue and the Randy Rogers Band all hit the stage Saturday.

All the money raised goes to local charities.

There have been some accidents outside the grounds as the cars hit the road. D-P-S was very much present in the area, as were law enforcers from across the region for the 17th annual event.
