Sleeping Driver Arrested for DWI, Knucks

Apparently, Mexican food wasn't enough to keep an alleged drunk driver awake at the wheel. Neither, allegedly, was his illegal weapon.

Charles Kromer was arrested Friday. Authorities say they saw his car running with its blinker on at the Taco Bell on Harvey Road in College Station.

Upon further inspection, police say the 20-year-old was hanging out of the open driver's side door, apparently asleep. Authorities also say he was drunk.

Not only was he arrested for DWI, Kromer also apparently had brass knuckles in his car, which is a prohibited weapon. He's out of jail on $6,000 bond.
