It was a delicious way to help out a local shelter for battered women and children. The MOMS Club of Bryan/College Station partnered with a trio of local businesses tonight to raise money for Phoebe's Home.

Double Dave's Pizza donated to the shelter $.20 of every dollar it received between 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Maggie Moos and Blue Kangaroo also chipped in a percentage of their sales.

The MOMS Club even arranged raffles and a silent auction to benefit Phoebe's Home.
