Fatal Heart Attack Causes Crash

A Bremond man died Wednesday after suffering a heart attack and crashing his SUV into a tree in Robertson County.

According to the Department of Public Safety, John Love, 58, crossed over the center line on Highway 6 between Hearne and Calvert. He clipped another car and careened off the road into a tree, according to officials.

Medics performed CPR and transported Love to St. Joseph Regional Health Center where he was pronounced dead.

Officials say Love's heart attack happened before the crash.

The other driver was not injured.
