Suspicious Death Under Investigation in Bryan

Bryan Police are in the middle of an investigation into the death of a 20-year-old.

According to BPD, a friend found Jenna Verhaalen dead in her apartment on Hollow Hill near Blinn Wednesday morning.

Right now, authorities are only terming her death as "suspicious." They are awaiting full autopsy results to determine a more definitive cause of death, though trauma to her upper body is said to be the preliminary cause.

Authorities say complete autopsy results could take up to six weeks.
