Bad blood may be behind a hit-and-run in that leaves an A&M Consolidated student hospitalized and another behind bars.

Police say the victim had been arguing with someone inside the vehicle at the high school around 4 this afternoon.
Minutes later, he lay sprawled out on the ground with a broken ankle after being clipped by the back of the car.
20-year old Sammy Maldonado Junior was arrested for failure to stop and render aid.

He's currently in the College Station jail.
