Just a week after JJ's Liquor Store was robbed at gunpoint, thieves strike again, but this time, there is an arrest.
Friday afternoon, a store employee found a pair of men behind the store on Texas Avenue where eight days ago, two men took money at gunpoint near closing time.
The men were apparently trying to make off with kegs.
Minor Blackshear Senior was arrested when authorities caught up with him. As of Saturday evening, the 52-year-old College Station man remains in Brazos County jail on a two-thousand dollar bond.
Authorities are looking into any possible connection between the crimes. No arrests have been made in the armed robbery.
