Legal advice can be pricey, but for a few hours on Saturday, it was free.
Members of the Brazos County Bar Association held the area's first legal clinic Saturday in Bryan. Local attorneys met with advice seekers on an individual basis.
Around 20 people showed up the first hour-and-a-half the clinic was open, and wanted to discuss legal options on all kinds of topics.
"We've had people that have come in today about social security issues, medicare issues, landlord-tenant issues, and family law issues," said Brazos County Bar Association President, Lane Thibodeaux.
Because of the response, organizers say they plan to hold more free legal clinics in the future.
