It wasn't an episode of "I love Lucy," but Saturday's grape stomping contest at Bryan's Messina Hof Winery, was definitely entertaining.
To stomp their way to a victory, teams needed to mash enough grapes for juice to flow out of a tub, and into a wine bottle.
While it was messy, stompers say the competition was worth it. Competitors also got to keep the bottle of the wine they created, but weren't eager to drink it.
"Probably not, but I did get some in my mouth," said stomper Lauren Starnes.
In this competition, team 'Cream of the Corn' came out on top. The stomping was part of the Wine and Roses Festival, at Messina Hof Winery.
