Bond has been denied for a pair of parolees charged with the capital murder of a Waller County convenience store clerk.

Hempstead residents Darryl Norris, 26, and Mars Leslie-Angel Weidemann, 19, are accused of fatally shooting Anwar Taher, 53, during the April 15 robbery of Hamner's Country Store. Authorities also recovered the alleged murder weapon.

Norris was on parole for an aggravated robbery conviction in Harris County. Weidemann was on parole after being convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Washington County.
