Jury selection began Wednesday in a civil case brought on by relatives of four people who died on Highway 6.
The families of Bruce King and Bryson Thompson, Sarah Nichols, and Augustin Hernandez are suing contractors and subcontractors who were working to expand Highway 6 in September 2006.
The lawsuit alleges the companies were negligent by causing vehicles to come to a complete stop on a busy highway.
Wednesday's jury pool was so large that with 65 potential jurors were brought in, jury selection was moved to a nearby church.
Opening statements are scheduled to begin Thursday.
