Myron Douglas Phillips, 35, has been charged with two counts of capital murder after Wednesday's shooting in Burleson County.
He is charged with killing David Weichert Sr., 62, and David Weichert Jr., 35.
We are also learning more details about Phillips, who allegedly shot and killed the two men in a home and then led law enforcement on a 12 hour manhunt.
Phillips has had a number of run-ins with the law.
He was convicted in Harris County back in the early 90's for two separate cases of DWI.
As recent as 1996, Phillips was convicted of aggravated armed robbery with a deadly weapon after he held up a family at gunpoint in a Houston mall parking lot.
He was sentenced to 5 years in prison, however it is unclear how much time he actually served of that sentence.
Phillips also has charges pending for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old, from an incident that occurred in early 2006.
Phillips was released from jail after posting bond in November of 2007.
He had a hearing scheduled for the sexual assault case yesterday in Houston, but obviously did not show up to court.
