Five pounds doesn't sound like a weighty issue, but when it's nearly five pounds of pot, it is.
Mark Clements, 24, was arrested Tuesday morning when authorities raided his Bryan home.
Inside, they say they found 4.8 pounds of hydroponic marijuana with a street value of $21,600.
Six grams of prescription drugs, $5,700 in cash, an electronic scale, guns and military body armor were also inside according to police.
Clements faces a trio of state jail felony drug charges.
The Brazos County Special Investigations Unit -- created last year and made up of investigators from Bryan, College Station, Brazos County and Texas A&M -- conducted the warranted search of the home on Aspen Street.
Officials say more arrests are possible in connection to this investigation.
