Bryan Pastor Accused of Stealing Church Funds

Bryan police say they are looking into allegations that a Shiloh Baptist Church minister stole from his own congregation.

According to police documents, Pastor Kris Erskine is accused of stealing $3,500 from the church between March 2006 and September 2007.

No charges have been filed.

According to police, the case has been turned over to the Brazos County District Attorney's office and handed over to a grand jury.

We talked to Pastor Erskine this evening, he said he was not aware of the investigation and had no comment.
