The blitz is getting hot and heavy for Habitat for Humanity.
The seven homes being built in seven days in the Bryan/College Station Habitat Builders Blitz are rapidly rising. Monday alone, the crews worked to paint the homes, install heating and air conditioning, place shingles on the roof and put in some of the plumbing.
Thursday, your generous donations to Habitat during News 3's fundraiser helped make one of these seven homes a reality.
The local Home Builders Association is at the forefront of the project, along with a number of volunteers.
The keys are due to be handed over in a ceremony Friday, when all the homes should be complete.
