A prominent home on Texas A&M's sorority row is a week away from destruction.
The Zeta Tau Alpha house is scheduled to be demolished next week, according to Allan Boegner of Albo Construction & Demolition.
The house is already being prepped to come down. Bricks, windows and doors have been removed.
In February, 40 sorority women moved out of the Zeta house after it was deemed structurally unstable.
Officials with Zeta said financially it was better to start over and build a new house.
The Zeta house was built in 1982 in the 1400 block of Athens Drive in College Station.
