Parents sometimes like to limit how much sugar their kids eat, but not Saturday in College Station.

Moms and dads encouraged their kids to do like Cookie Monster, and eat as many cookies as they could.

The new take on manners and nutrition was all for the Cookie Eating Contest at Blue Baker.

Money raised from the contest goes to the Children's Miracle Network.

In case the kids didn't eat enough cookies to last them awhile, first place winners will receive a free cookie every day for a year.

Winners also took home a medal, along with a dirty face.
