Debate over a local lingerie store leads to changes in the Bryan zoning ordinance that regulates adult businesses.
The city council approved the changes Tuesday night which now add specific definitions of what constitutes adult bookstores, adult bars and adult theaters.
The move comes on the heels of last month's closure of Cindie's Lingerie for violation of the zoning ordinance. Cindie's was allowed to reopen after its appeal was upheld by the Bryan Zoning Board which found the ordinance too vague in its definitions of adult businesses.
The council also decided Tuesday night to table three proposed annexation sites until more studies can be done.
