With the 4th of July just around the corner, Brazos County Commissioners have issued a ban on certain types of fireworks including "skyrockets with sticks" and "missiles with fins."

Sparklers and firecrackers are still permitted.

While there's no burn ban in place, commissioners had to make a decision by June 16th in order to impose the ban.
