It took a Brazos County jury just 30 minutes to convict a registered sex offender of two additional charges.

Darrell Jones, 48, received two life sentences for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Those sentences will run back to back.

Jones was found guilty of molesting a fourth grader.

The Bryan man was already on probation for sexual assault, which resulted in a mandatory life sentence.
