Bryan Resident Celebrates 105th Birthday

In 1903, Theodore Roosevelt was president and the Wright Brothers made the world's first flight.
That same year, Augusta Johnson was born.

On Friday, the Bryan woman turned 105 years old.

Born in Missouri on June 13, 1903, Mrs. Johnson moved to Texas in 1992 when her husband of 65 years passed away.

A lifelong stay-at-home mom, Mrs. Johnson has 2 children, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grand children.

The birthday girl was surrounded by family and friends at her big celebration at Crestview Retirement Community.

Mrs. Johnson is said to be in great health, in fact, she doesn't take any medication.
