Double Shooting in Brenham

Two people were injured Friday evening during a shooting in Brenham.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. at a home on East Alamo Street and North Chappell Hill in downtown Brenham.

Brenham police said one person was taken to the hospital for surgery. The condition of the second shooting victim is unknown. Police say the victims' injuries are not life threatening.

Brenham police are releasing few details about the incident.
