2 Men Arrested in Montgomery County

On Monday, at approximately 10:00 a.m, The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SIU Uniform Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle headed northbound on I-45 near Research Forrest.

During the traffic stop, the driver gave consent to search the vehicle. A stolen 9mm pistol and approximately 100 grams of methamphetamine were recovered from the vehicle. Both Dylan Powers and Joe Lopez were arrested at the scene.
