It was a new record Sunday for this year's Scott & White Healthcare BCS Marathon and Half Marathon.
More than 2,700 people ran the two courses which is more than twice as many as last year.
While final costs and expenses are being finalized, BCS Marathon organizers believe the event will raise at least $100,000 for three charities including Mercy Project, the Down Syndrome Association of the Brazos Valley, and SOS Ministries.
This year's winners of the marathon were Jacob Rotich while his wife was the winner for the female participants.
Jacob ran it in 2 hours 39 minutes and 20 seconds, while Hellen Rotich was 2 hours 47 minutes 49 seconds.
Johnathan Lejerne won the half marathon in 1 hour 16 minutes 08 seconds, while Allison Macsas was the woman winner at 1 hour 24 minutes 41 seconds.
