There are now two Brazos Valley counties with burn bans. Wednesday at 6 a.m., Washington County joined Madison County in prohibiting all outdoor burning.
The move was made after fire chiefs in Washington County recommended the ban to commissioners who approved it Tuesday. It will last 90 days unless cancelled due to rain.
However, it does not apply to 4th of July fireworks.
