Authorities hit the mother lode during a search for drugs at a Bryan home.

The Brazos County Special Investigation Unit executed a search warrant just before 5 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 2100 block of Granite Ridge.

Inside they found 13 ounces of cocaine with an estimated street value of $23,000. They also seized more than $16,000 in cash, a semi-automatic pistol and a scale.

Emiliano Rodarte, Sr., 44, was arrested on one count of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. The charge is a first degree felony due to the amount of drugs recovered.
