Dry conditions and the lack of rain have burn bans popping up across our area. So far, only a few counties in our viewing have prohibited outdoor burning.
Those counties include Lee, Washington, Austin, Waller, Grimes, Robertson and Madison counties.
Brazos County commissions are set to vote on a burn ban Tuesday morning. If approved, the ban would prohibited outdoor burning for the next 90 days.
Brazos County Commissioners have already issued a ban on certain types of fireworks including "skyrockets with sticks" and "missiles with fins." Sparklers and firecrackers are still permitted.
