Last month, the Bryan city council wanted more information about proposed annexation sites before they signed off on public hearings. Now, it appears city staff is ready to bring the issue back to them.
In all, five zones are proposed for annexation. That includes a pair recommended by the Bryan Business Council. A little more than 8,000 acres is being recommended by city staff.
If approved Tuesday night, public hearings will be scheduled. Council will then have to sign off on the annexation.
More on the proposed sites can be found at the link below this story.
Also at the meetings, the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency debate will continue. Bryan leaders will discuss their legal action against College Station in a closed door meeting.
Bryan is accusing their sister city of not allowing them access to key decision in the landfill operation they co-own.
