The airline woes are hitting a lot of airports hard, but so far Easterwood has escaped flight cuts. That doesn't mean there may not be schedule changes on the horizon.
Officials at Easterwood have been informed of possible schedule changes that would change the arrival and departure times for American Eagle flights.
The changes, if finalized, would go into effect in early September.
Airport officials are working with American Eagle to see if the times can be altered at all, as there are some significant changes, including a later departure time for the first flight out of Easterwood, and earlier arrival times for the last two flights into Easterwood daily.

As we told you last month, while the number of American flights is not changing, the size of the planes is getting bigger. As long as people keep flying to Dallas-Fort Worth, Easterwood officials don't foresee any cuts in the near future.
