More than 700 Spanish speaking firefighters from all over the world are in College Station this week to receive hands-on training from some of the area's best.
Firefighters from as far away as Argentina, and Chile were put to the test Wednesday, as teams battled intense heat, and even more intense flames.
Although more men than women typically attend the fire training school. Officials say this year, a record 50 women, turned out to prove they have the right stuff.
The training school is the first of three happening this month.
