One is arrested, another still on the run following a Saturday night high-speed pursuit through two counties.

The chase started around 10 p.m. on Sandy Point Road in Bryan. Authorities say early in the pursuit, Bryan resident Daniel Denman, 19, bailed out of the pickup and tried to escape. He was caught and charged with evading arrest.

The driver continued on, eventually ditching the truck near F-M 22-93 in Robertson County. He managed to elude officers and disappear. Investigators won't say what started the chase.
