It was a special reunion for a high school that no longer exists.
The decades of the 1950s and the Kemp High School classes of 1948 and 1949 met Saturday night at the Plaza Hotel, in College Station.
There was even a place to have a high school picture taken.
Organizers say most of the graduates that attended no longer live in the BCS area.
"We're just glad to see each other and greet each other, a lot of hugs and kisses. Some of us are in wheel chairs, some of us are on canes, but we're here," said George Vault, Kemp Class of 1954.
Kemp originally housed a high school and elementary.
The reunion group formed in 1971 when Kemp was turned into an elementary.
