Several mobile homes were destroyed Monday by a quick-moving wildfire in Robertson County.
The fire broke out along Highway 6 about 10 miles north of Calvert. It then split into two separate fires, one of which threatened an RV park.
Emergency responders from Hearne and Calvert worked both sites while a fire-suppression helicopter dumped water on the flames. The blaze was brought under control by early evening.
