Texas Task Force 1 was ready, willing and able to help with the arrival of Tropical Storm Edouard, but their second activation in the last month wasn't as eventful as the first.
Officials with TX-TF1 say the elite search and rescue team's resources are being sent home, as Edouard's arrival Tuesday was not as powerful as it could have been, and no rescue major operations were needed.
The task force had been staged in Houston for possible rescue operations.
The team had spent just a few days home following their rescues in South Texas from Hurricane Dolly when the governor's office activated the first responder team, which is based in College Station, but has assets from across the state.
