President Bush is in China as the Olympics begin, but so is someone beloved by Aggies: his father.
"My dad was a fabulous president," the current president said Friday, "and I tell people one reason why was not only did he know what he was doing, he was a fabulous father."
The 41st president joined the current commander-in-chief as they opened the new American embassy in Beijing. The former president Bush made the formal introduction of Bush 43.
The Olympic Games open in Beijing Friday as well. The president is in the midst of an Asian tour that includes the opening ceremonies.
Bush 41 scheduled to be back in Aggieland come the fall, when the new space exhibit opens at the Bush Library. He has been on his usual summer vacation at the family's property in Maine.
