Funeral services for Tyrick Bonner, 14, have been set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Brenham High School.

Bonner drowned last Saturday during a baseball party for the Washington County Junior All Stars. Authorities say he was swimming with a group of friends in a pond at the Rod & Gun Club in Washington County. That's when he's believed to have succumbed to exhaustion while trying to swim back to shore.

A memorial fund in Tyrick Bonner's name has been set up at Brenham National Bank.
