Bryan Opens Another School's Doors

Another new Bryan school is ready for that first bell to ring.

Friday afternoon, Davila Middle School was ceremonially opened. It's the fourth middle school in Bryan, and the second new school to open this year in the city, along with Rudder High School.

Davila is named for Arthur Davila, the first Hispanic Bryanite to serve on the school board.

The school's nickname will be the Texans.

For more information, click on the school's website. Also, we've got a link to's Back 2 School section.
