A trial date has been set for the second suspect in a Renaissance Festival murder.

Jonathan Damuth will stand trial September 8 for the 2004 murder of Brandon Smith. The case was originally set for January, but was postponed.

Smith was a sailor home on leave from Norfolk, Virginia when he was stabbed 20 times in the parking lot of the Renaissance Festival.

The first murder defendant, Brent Nolan, was tried and convicted of Smith's murder in 2006. He's currently serving a 55-year sentence.
