Bryan Police Sergeant Steve French will appeal his suspension.

According to the City of Bryan, French has provided the notice of appeal, which will take the matter to arbitration.

French was removed from duty August 6th for three violations of department regulations -- use of force, conduct unbecoming and truthfulness.

News 3 has filed several open record requests with the city of Bryan, but each request has been denied.

The city has forwarded those requests to the Attorney General's Office, which will now have 30 days to review our requests.
