Woman Jumps From Bryan Apartment Fire

Several Bryan families were displaced Tuesday, and a woman was injured after an early morning apartment fire.

The fire broke out around 5:15 a.m on Monito Way in west Bryan.

It took 28 firefighters about four hours to extinguish the blaze, according to Bryan fire officials.

Authorities say a woman jumped from the second floor of the fourplex suffering minor injuries.

Five adults and five children were inside at the time. Officials say the two upper units suffered fire damage, while the two low units received water damage.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
