Not only is Hurricane Ike causing schools to cancel class across the Brazos valley, but it's also pushing back the trial for Texas's oldest, unresolved murder case.

Opening statements in the KFC murder trial have been moved to 9 a.m. Tuesday, because of the storm.

Darnell Hartsfield is on trial for killing five people, he and his cousin allegedly abducted from a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Kilgore a quarter-century ago.

If convicted, Hartsfield faces an automatic life prison term because prosecutors have said they won't seek the death penalty.
