The city of Bryan is trying to do its part to save money and the environment. Its information technology department recently consolidated its computer servers from 50 to 19.

According to the city, this will result in an annual savings of 217,000 kw hours of electricity. They say it will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 124 tons which is the equivalent of 46 fewer cars or planting more than 1,700 trees.
