A Bryan man was sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday, after he was convicted of subsequent sexual assault with a child.

39-year-old Ronnie Daniel has been in the Brazos County jail since February of 2007.

Daniel previously served prison time for sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Investigators say Daniels had sex with a 16 year old at the Motel 6 in College Station, in November of 2006, and that the girl later became pregnant.

Daniel has already served 5 years for his prior convictions.

He must serve at least 35 years in prison before becoming eligible for parole this time.
