College Station Police arrested three men after an attempted burglary on Crosstimbers Drive in College Station Tuesday.
Four homes on Crosstimbers Drive were burglarized July 27. A neighbor across the street heard the attempted burglary in progress Tuesday, then called 911.
“It was a loud thud, and that's when I went to the front door and realized there were 3 guys coming over the fence,” said a neighbor who did not want to be identified.
College Station Police arrested 17-year-old Terence Johnson Jr,, 17-year-old Eddie Mason, and an unidentified juvenile suspect.
“Officer located a broken window pane to the back door...Glass shards were found on each of the suspect's shoes including a red bandana found on Mason containing glass shards,” said College Station Police Officers in a probable cause statement.
Lindsay Timpson saw the suspects walking through the neighborhood before the attempted burglary Tuesday.
“I think they were looking for cars in driveways, that's what they were looking for,” said Timpson.
Investigators do not know if the same people are responsible for all the burglaries.
