A pair of gunmen who shot a Rockdale business owner during a late-night robbery are at large Friday night.
Police say two men wearing masks demanded money from the owner of Gill's Shop and Go in Rockdale.
When 52-year-old Gurmail Gill told them he didn't have any, they shot him three times.
"Everybody's in shock, I couldn't believe it. I have been friends with him for 15 years, and all the sudden you see this and he's just a few blocks down from me, so, you know, it gets kind of scary," said business owner John Krause.
Gill was airlifted to Scott-and-White Hospital in Temple where he is listed in critical condition.
