Murder Mystery Dinner Brings in Funds For Crime Stoppers

Successful fundraising is what helps keep Brazos Valley Crime Stoppers in operation.

And on Tuesday night, the organization held one of its major it got an early start on the Halloween festivities.

Crime Stoppers hosted a murder mystery dinner and a costume party at the Hilton in College Station.

Around 200 guests were given clues to help them eliminate suspects in the murder mystery, eventually leading them to the guilty party.

There was also a live auction during the night to help raise funds.

Last year, Brazos Valley Crime Stoppers raised $30,00 at their Murder Mystery Dinner.

Brazos County Crime Stoppers was established in 1981

Since its inception, Brazos County Crime Stoppers has paid out about $250,000 in rewards, it has seized about $3 million worth of illegal narcotics, and it has arrested 2,000 people.
